We are the Cretan Sailing.
Our sailing boat “Maraki” (former “Viridiana”) is a 12-meter successful and seaworthy design for the Mediterranean sea and climate.
Our skipper Makis Vasilakis is an expert state licensed offshore sailing instructor willing to share his knowledge with his guests.
SAILING TRIPS / CRUISES
Our cruises are done only for you and your friend. They are private; we don’t collect people with tickets or something like that.
Our programme and the hours of departure and arrival can be adjusted to your wish.
We want you to have one of the greatest experiances of your vacation. We believe we have achieved it in our 30 years of operation.
1. One day cruise:
– It can accommodate a group of maximum 10 persons.
– It starts at about 10 p.m. from Chania to the small Maherida bay for a first dive.
– Next we sail to Thodorou island to stay for swimming, snorkelling and a small lunch (Greek salad, Kalitsounia, beverages, beers and wine).
– By 4 p.m. we pull anchor towards Chania with a small stop and a last dive in Lazaretta island
– We arrive to the port of Chania at about 5 a.m.
2. Four-hours trips: It starts in the morning (10a.m. to 2 p.m.) or in the afternoon (3 p.m. to 7 p.m.), for agroup of maximum 10 persons.
3. Sunset cruises: A two hour outing for agroup of maximum 10 persons.
